Retailing over the past 30 years from Store, Multi Site Retailing, Field
Management and Commercial & Online Trading.
He has Project Managed a number of large Business
Change Scenarios for leading High Street Retailers and is an expert in Retail
Operating Systems & Processes.
Jon has detailed knowledge of Retailing Technologies
and Online retailing, from a full Trading Web solutions to Multi Channel
Retailing.
In addition, he has an extensive knowledge of Public
Internet Access Terminals and the development of new products for market.
He developed & brought to market, BookMuncher,
the revolutionary new way to read electronic documents and has appeared
on a number of TV & Radio interviews, incuding Dragon's Den
Client base includes Selfridges, Orange UK, WHSmith,
RDL, Wanadoo, France Telecom, Data Vision Europe, along with global consultancy
for CRG, Gerson Lehrman & Cognolink.
He continues to offer an Interim Management role,
in addition to Consulting and management of Solutions R Us, preferring to
keep up to date through his hands on approach.

Henri has worked in the retail industry for the last 25 years having worked
for Habitat, Next ,WH Smith and the National Trust; her experience includes
the shop floor, field management and operational, training, product development
and buying roles within a head office environment.
Henri gained her extensive New Product Development and Buying expertise
with a number of these Blue Chip Retailers and was the driving force behind
the shift from “Functional to Emotional” Stationery in the UK’s leading
Stationer.
Henri is known for her extensive product knowledge and these honed skills
are used across all product categories of the UK stationery industry in
the Retail, Commercial and Manufacturing sectors.
Henri continues to work for the National Trust as a Buyer for their Gift
shops, initially developing their Local Product ranges and more recently
working on Greetings Cards, Calendars and Christmas cards.
In addition Henri has a great understanding of both Heritage sector and
Visitor Attractions markets.
As a buyer in any market it is critical to understand consumer motivations
at any given time. Keeping up to date with latest market trends has always
been Henri’s forte and she is currently focusing on the Environmental Impact
of Retail products and Packaging.
Materials used, their sourcing, their disposal, minimizing packaging and
competitive UK production, are becoming much more important for consumers
and manufacturers alike, so we are pleased to be able to offer our clients
this valuable insight.

Jo gained her extensive Buying, Quality Management
and Ethical Trading expertise with a number of Blue Chip Retailers and has
a proven track record in new market development, gaining market share and
implementing best practice. She was the key driver in introducing new high
margin product categories for WH Smith and Boots The Chemist, including,
Art and Craft gift sets, Educational toys and New-born clothing and gifts.
Jo’s experience at WH Smith also included the creation
and evolution of the Quality function from its inception, to its current
team of 20 UK and Far East based specialists, focused on supporting the
Buying teams on new product and supplier development.
This range of skills and experience gained within
the full end to end own brand/range development process, continues to add
value within a range of Retail environments.
Jo has recently been working as a Freelance Consultant/Interim Manager working
on a number of Buying and Quality/Corporate Responsibility based projects
for companies including Ideal Shopping Direct, The National Trust and Past
Times.
Jo has extensive General Merchandise experience but has specific expertise
in buying and range planning within the Children’s Clothing and Toys market
as well as the Stationery and Gifts markets.
The development and implementation of supplier sourcing
and assessment policy/processes is a key specialism for Jo. These are based
on ensuring procedures are in place that are appropriate to business policy
and meet all legal and Corporate Responsibility policy requirements.
Jo has strong leadership and strategic planning skills
gained particularly from the experience of developing and embedding Quality,
Ethical and Environmental processes into Buying best practice.
